Dear robo11, There are several ways to find a CDE. One way is to sign onto the website of AADE (www.diabeteseducator.org) and go to the link where you enter your local zipcode and it shows you a list of educators in your region. Another way is to look for a local chapter of AADE in your phone book. Another way is to call a hospital in your area and ask if they have a CDE on staff. I commend you for realizing the benefits of working with a CDE to help with your diabetes control.
