I suffer from having leg throbbing pains and its always up in the calves of my legs and I've also got DVT. What kinds of treatments should I see about having? Or what kind of Specialists should I get in contact with?

Dear lovechild, First of all, I would start with your family doctor. Then if he/she is unable to help you, ask for a referral to a specialist. I think a vascular doctor would probably be the appropriate specialist. They will study the blood flow in your legs. There are so many causes of leg pain that I think it is pre-mature to assume it is diabetic neuropathy. That is why I recommend seeing an expect in the vascular field.

It may or may not be neuropathy but I suffer the same thing and after 25 yrs and several doctors that is what has been diagnosed as the problem. The trhobbing stabbing is pretty unreal and its worse at night.
