Dear mimarde, Many people with diabetes (either type 1 or 2) have thyroid diseases. There are many type of thyroid diseases. Using Lantus insulin should not interfere with the thyroid medication that you are taking. It is good to have your thryoid labs done periodically to ensure you are taking the right dose of the thyroid medication.
