Dear akorah- Thank-you for contacting d life. Although I have not seen your specific glucose levels and how they fare during the day, I have an idea. The Levemir that you are taking twice a day is taking care of the glucose between meals and while you sleep. You are taking the Novo just at dinner time to handle the carbohydrates at your dinner time. What are you doing at both breakfast and lunch for glucose control for the carbs at those meals.

I suggest you take you glucose levels before lunch and dinner and review them with your physician or health care provider to identify if you require something at each meal either an oral supplement or insulin.

You aren't doing anything wrong, you are doing things right by noticing a variation in control and wanting to be proactive to achieve target glucose levels.

A conversation with your doctor will help with your frustration and get you back up to great management.
