Dear anglsunawr- I am so glad you contacted dLife. Please call the Medtronic company right away. There is an 1-800 number on your pump. A pump technician will talk you though an extensive check of pump. There was a recall of sensors a few months back. If they are unable to resolve the problem they will send you out a new one.

My experience with this pump company is quite good with both their tech phone support as well as the one on one pump field support. Please do not hesitate to call them.

When you get the "bad sensor" reading are you getting a "Cal Error" reading first? It could be because your bg's are not stable at the time of testing. Try to test when your bg's are more stable and not going up or down quickly right after eating. If you get two "Cal Error" readings you will get a "bad sensor" reading. You might also want to check the date on the sensors. It has a shelf life of 6 months. To my knowledge, there was not a recall on the sensors but, on the infusion sets with certain lot #'s.
