Dear niqui1, Byetta should be taken as recommended by the manufacturer. That is twice daily. I have read that soon a once weekly form of Byetta will be available. As to using the same needle 3 times per day, I ask you why you want to do that? Needles have a very thin coating on them that allows the needle to slip into the skin in a painless manner. The more times you use the needle, the less coating remains on it. That loss of the coating can result in more pain to you. We encourage our clients to use a new needle with every shot.
