Dear c.ferguson, Being stressed out can cause your blood sugars to rise. Therefore, it is not good that you haven't been taking your prescribed diabetes medications. I suggest you ask your physician to evaluate you for possible depression. Many people need some medication for depression to help them overcome stress. You might also benefit from some counseling by a social worker or psychologist. I'm sure your doctor could recommend someone to help you work through your stress.
