Thanks for bringing you question to dLife.

Age 55 is OK. As for the weight of 150 pounds, I am not sure. You did not mention your gender, height, body frame, and level of physical activity. There are many factors that help establish a healthy weight.

Since each person is different, it is difficult to say what is an appropriate weight without seeing the individual. What makes you feel that you need to gain weight?

I recommend that you share your concerns with your doctor. He or she has detailed information about you and your fitness level, and can best determine the most approrpriate weight for you.
