"can I start using human growth hormone. Will it affect my pre-diabetic condition?"

Background Info Hide
I am a personal trainer and was diagnosed in November 2007. I test my levels 2x daily with an average result of 135. My current weight is 189. BMI is about 22. A couple years ago I changed my workout and eventually lost 15 pounds. I am interested in gaining back the muscle mass I lost. Will HGH do the trick for me?

Hello livewisely2020
I highly recommend not using growth hormones. This is a homone that will effect your entire endocrine system including your pancreas and liver function. Supplements obtained over the internet or at health food stores are not regulated like medications. Being diabetic puts you at risk of kidney disease and increased protein metabolism can damage your kidneys. Please discuss this issue with your primary care doctor or better yet, with an endocrinologist before you make an informed decision about this supplement. Alway consider risk versus benefit and if you can live with the possible side effects.
