Hello,

Thanks for bringing your questions to dLife.

There are multiple causes of low platelet count. I am not aware of glucophage, Byetta, or insulin lowering platelets. Are you taking aspirin? Other medications or other health issues?

I suggest that you talk with your doctor about your concern. He or she can thoroughly evaluate your platelet status. Then, determine the cause of the problem and provide the proper treatment.

Take care.
