You did not give any details about what effect you are experiencing from the heat. Your body could respond to heat as a stressor which would result in increased blood sugars. Heat also puts you at risk for dehydration, coupled with elevated blood sugars could result in more severe effects from the elevated blood sugars. Drink plenty of water or sugar free beverages in either case. The other concern with heat is its effect on your blood sugar testing strips - be sure they are not left out in the heat or in the car. heat is a major factor in my bloodsugars running low.and the cold weather tends to make them run higher.so if you are running low get out early morning or in the evening.also make sure to have glucose tablets on hand and a glucagon emergency kit with you.and if it is high ,you ask your doctor about possibily changing the time or dose of your medicines and have a back up driver for eitherone.it pays to be cautious and careful.good luck.
