Dear 23174600, You asked about suicide rates and hyperglycemia. I briefly googled the subject and found that most of the suicide studies combined other aspects of hyperglycemia such as the person being depressed, being on certain anti-depressants, intentionally withholding prescribed drugs in order to induce a serious health situation, etc. I guess it isn't really a very clear subject. If you feel that you are at risk for suicide or are having thoughts of suicide, please, please call your doctor and get some help now!
