Background Info Hide
My endo says this test takes 3 hrs, I have to take a pill captipril a RN has to monitor my blood on the half hour, and my blood Pressure for the 3 hrs in case of trouble. After all this time with all the meds they have put me on, 32 aday, they decide they do not want to pay for this test. The Endo changed my Blood Pressure Meds so it doesnt interfere with the test.that has been 3wks. Now my BP has been running high after everything was undercontrol. Maybe we do need somekind of control to stop this kind of treatment.

Dear bikerwoody, Most insurance plans have some sort of appeal process. That is what I would recommend. Have your physician follow the procedures that they use and justify the need for the test. Sometimes insurance plans refuse payment because appropriate documentation and /or justification has not been made for the procedure. So, try again.
