Hello vonline
Swimming is the easiest answer that comes to mind. But, not everyone has access to a pool specially in colder months. Do call your insurance carrier and see if there is any wellness benefits that pay for a gym membership. If swimming is out of the question, do arm aerobics and arm strengthening. Arm circles with or without light weights will increase your heart rate and contribute to your conditioning. Resistance training with light weights, increases muscle tone and helps reduce insulin resistance. When insulin can work more efficiently, the glucose can get into your muscles and provide the energy you need to do the work of exercise. As always, ask your doctor before you start exercising and start slowly.
