Hello,

Thanks for bringing your question to dLife.

Congratulations on maintaining excellent blood glucose (sugar) control!

Chills have multiple causes. Chills may occur at the beginning of an infection and are usually associated with a fever. Chills are caused by rapid muscle contraction and relaxation. It can be associated with poor blood circulation. People with iron deficiency often experience chills.

Talk with your doctor about your concerns. He or she can determine the cause of the chills. It must be first diagnosed before it can be treated.

Take care.
