"My wife is an RN (30 years) she was just recently told she may be suspended or fired for any more low sugar episodes. Can they do that?"

Our community has given you the best advice for this. Call the ADA at 1-800-DIABETES (1-800-342-2383) and ask to speak to a legal advocate. That is the best way to get started with this. Good luck!

There are protection for diabetics you may need to call a lawyer they would know and they would not charge you for that info. That would be diabetic discrimnation and I doubt they want a big lawsuit on there hands. You could call the ADA and get an idea from them.
