SImcor is a cholesterol medicine containing two drugs: simvastatin and niacin. Niacin may cause rises in blood sugar. Usually these are not significant when your usual AM sugars are under 100. I would continue to track your moringin sugars because 2 readings are not enough to indicate a positive connection between the Simcor and your blood sugar. Speak to your physician about your concerns and possible alternatives or dosage adjustments. Good luck.
