Hello,

Thanks for bringing your question to dLife.

I have not been able to locate any scientific research studies supporting the benefits of this approach to treating diabetes. Only testimonials of the success of the program were found.

Regular physical activity and balanced meals with controlled amounts of carbohydrates, lean protein, and healthful fats remain the most effective and safest treatment for diabetes and weight managment.

There is no quick fix for diabetes or any chronic diseases. Support is very important to achieving and maintaining optimal blood glucose (sugar) levels.

Take care.

Any time you reduce your carb level you will reduce your bs level to a degree. Dont look for any quick fix pie in the sky cures. Let you meter be your guide and find foods that reduce your bs level. Get out and get active and really depending on how severe your diabetes is it can be controlled. If you need to lose weight that can be a great help in lowering bs for some, it wont work for all as my mom was 100 lbs and was dx type 2 at the age of 19. If it is in your genes no matter what all you can do its control it.
