I think apples are a great fruit for anyone because they have fiber in the skin and they don't pack as much sugar content as grapes and bananas. They also come in many varieties, which gives people choice if they like sour or sweet. I add them to sandwiches and salads. Yeast infections can be helped sometimes by adding acidophilus as a supplement or just by eating more yogurt. High blood sugars cause a ph change that can make yeast infections more likely, so good blood sugar control is important.

I was plagued by yeast infections. My gynecologist recommended acidophilus. I now take 1 tablets twice a day and rarely have yeast infections anymore.
