I am 59 and I was taking 2 mg prandin with each meal, and 100mg 0f junivia once aday. I have been able to cut back to 1 mg of prandin with each meal. I have lost 40 lbs over the last 13 weeks and have 70 to go.. How can I avoid the low blood sugar after my walk? I take a reg coke with me and drink it along the way, but I don't want to pick up those calories.

Exercise will usually bring blood sugars down, even sometimes for several hours after the exercise period. This is a good thing, and I applaud your efforts!! You do, however have to compensate for this increase in activity by increasing your meal or snack befor walking. If you take a snack with some carbs and some protein prior to your walk, this would be helpful.
