Okay high fat food like pizza especially alot of pizza can definitely raise your blood sugar hours after eating it. I don't know if the cause of your high blood sugar days after was the pizza. Many different foods you eat can spike your sugar--especially carbohydrate-rich foods. You should look at the healthy eating tab on dLife to learn more, and also start reading food labels. When possible stick to the portion size recommended on labels, and use your high blood glucose results to make healthier choices next time you eat a particular food in order to prevent future highs.
