"I dont have insurance, I dont have any money, and the county wont help me out. I need my insulin and my BS have been running 205-350. Got any ideas?"

Hi sargent85,

You should find out if your county has any free clinics. Or clinics where doctors can see you on a sliding fee. The fee is usually determined based on your household income.

Also many pharmaceutical companies offer patient assistance programs (PAP). Again PAP eligibility is dependent on your income. To see if your insulin company offers a patient assistance program you can go to www.needymeds.org.

Many clinics have insulin and even doctors offices have it. Walmart has there brand for under $25 so that might be a option. Many makers of insulin will donate if good cause is shown good luck.
