Dear betty51

I am not sure what type of insulin you are taking so it is difficult to make a recommendation. Your blood glucose control is very good. I do have a question how long after the meal are you testing. In order to get an accurate reading you should test no sooner than 2 hours after the meal. The goal for a two hour after a meal is 140-160 and you are well below that number. If you are having frequent readings below 70 you may want to check with your health care provider and decide if you should reduce your evening dose of insulin. Keep up the good work!

Your bs numbers are beyond fantastic. You are either low carbing or your body is still producing insulin. You also dont sound very insuln resistant which is great. The fact you lowered your insulin dosing is a very good sign.
