"I am a diabetic. I take humlin u-500 r 35 each meal, lantus 150 night and 85 morning and actos 30 mg morning. Lately been gaining weight."

I went from 189 to 184 then from 191 now says 197 or 198, feet swollen and ankles, hrting from knees down. been having chest pain drs. can't figure out why , last night blood pressure up when went er and all they say is nerve damange might be why my feet doing that . but why all sudden weight gain and chest and feet swollen i think all linked together. but not sure what can i do?and my blood sugar numbers has been better.like in like 80's 90' 120 or lower sometimes

I would ask if you have seen a cardiologist for a complete work up. They could address your swollen feet and also see if your circulation is adequate. The weight gain may be from sodium retention which your doctor can address.

Both the Lanuts and actos can add weight on. Some of the foot problem could be swelling from the actos. Call your doctor for further info and let hm or her know.
