Hello vamsicut
It is my suggestion that you make a few calls before traveling. I would first start by contacting your insurance or medical provider in India and ask if your prescriptions will be able to be filled in advance. You also need to call the airline to find out the regulations as to tranporting insulin pens. You may be required to carry on only the amount you will need for travel and pack the rest in checked bags. Ask your pharmacist if the insulin pens will be safe during travel if not in controlled temperature like a plane's baggage compartment. The airline may allow you to carry on all your pens. It is worth a call.

I am sure that Novalin Pens are available in Scotland. The name may be different, but it will be the same insulin or may be a Humalog rapid insulin which is very similar. The question arises as to who will order your medication. It sounds as if you will be at a University. Call ahead and ask the student medical department how they have handled issues like this in the past. The Student medical office may be able to write a prescription for you there in Scotland so you will not have to travel with so many pens. Good communication between you and your doctor is crucial before you embark on your journey.
