"What are the affects of synthetic progesterone on blood glucose levels, if any?"

I have been put on progesterone for abnormal uterine bleeding and my blood glucoses haven't been below 170. Just wondering if this could be related.

Hormones do have the potential to raise blood glucose. Generally adjustments in medications can help get things back in balance. Check with your doctor to see how best to handle this situation. It is relatively common and can be fixed with some slight alerations in dosing of existing medication or adding new medication.
