"Has any one researched the advantage of stem cell injections?"

I feel that most of the doctors that I speak too are against stem cell research. I get the feeling that juvenile diabetes is a money making profit for the doctors' and that my childs' disease is being masked and not cured.

As a mother with two children with diabetes, I feel your frustration. Stem cell research has come a long way, but not fast enough for me. Currently there is one stem cell product being tested on newly diagnosed type 1 patients to try to "prevent" full blown diabetes. Other aspects of a "cure" via stem cells are not here yet. I have faith that those out for the gain of simply fidning a cure will find one. I have to hold onto that thought for my boys. Hang in there!

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO GET ON TEST STUDYS? I HAVE BEEN ON INSULIN FOR OVER 30 YRS, AND STILL HAVE EVERY THING.
I am type 1,been for almost 30 years, this morn at 7:00 am bs was 80 ate breakfast, (same carbs each morn) 10 minutes later bs was 28.
Can a type I go into DKA if they have not received any insulin via pump for more than 4-5 hrs even though their BS remains low to normal?
