Dear DoMenica; Sorry to hear of the kidney stones and developing complications. How are the blood sugar levels? Any blood losses should be also be communicated to your P)personal (C)care (P)physician or physician who managed the stone removal. Diabetes complicates the healing process and quite possibly this is what is happening. To enhance healing, keep the blood sugar levels as normal as possible. If the stress of this past event of kidney stone removal has caused fluxes in the blood glucose levels, please contact your PCP/Endocrinologist for potential additional needs of medications. Stress messes with your counter-regulatory hormones, causing glycemic excursions. Additional hypo-glycemic-blood glucose lowering medications may be needed here. Hope this was helpful, please advise on how we at dLife can continue to help. Be your best in '09, Regard Sue for you!!!
