"can high blood sugars cause red bumps all over u? also what do u do for a pinky finger that is nothing but numb all the time?"

i am on three different medines right now for blood sugar and i am ir.i take 65 lantus morning 150 at night lantus, 30 humlin u-500 r each meal 30 units, and actos 30 mg morning. i just recantly got the new insuliin again the humlin . also can that be causing feeling sick ?

Diabetes and high blood sugar can be linked to several skin conditions. The only way to know for sure is to visit your doctor or a dermatologist that specializes in disorders of the skin. If you have not had your skin evaluated I think that would be the best idea. At the same time, you can have your small pinky finger examined. Diabetes can cause neuropathy, which can result in numbness in fingers and toes. Your clinician can administer a test that can determine if you have nerve damage.
