Hello Nanashi: I apologize for the abbrev. "PCP", actually a reference to your '(P)personal (C)care (P)physician or general physician.' Glad to hear of your dynamite 'self-management routine and successes. Several hormones functions are influenced by aging. ie. thyroid, growth and sex hormones, counter-regulatory hormones, as well as any lingering insulin functions. I personally think this is your normal if the 'T'-count reflects the 'testosterone' measure and you are not referencing the thyroid functions referred to a T-hormones.
I would conclude; Weight is good, A1C great(meets all the recommendations, ADA, AADE....) Activity level, how is the HDL? Just a reminder, check you feet daily, keep up the good work and continue the LEAD BY EXAMPLE!!!
Regards
Sue
