"It appears despite taking meds on time, my blood sugar stays in the 200 count,drops no lower than 150. except when I skip a meal. Is this a good pract"

56 years diabetic for 3 years , eat everything, but in small portions and low sugar and dance and exercise regularly daily. I am using 300 mgs. of tolazidemide or tolanaise, 1/2 tabs. 2times daily. Weight 220 lbs.

I am sure you know your bs are to high. A few things could be going on here. Either your eating more carbs than your body can handle or your weight is preventing the insulin made from working. This is true medical fact not bull. Your meter should tell you two hours after eating that if your above 140 that the carb level is to high. A few things have to change, bs at the level you mentioned are in a dangerous zone and can do damage to you. I know I live it daily please have a talk with your doctor. I also want to add your pancreas at this stage may not be working like it did years ago.
