"Is there any help for type 1 diabetics with dental issues?"

I am a type 1 diabetic for 20 plus years. I'm 32 years old and have lots of problems with my teeth and a lot to due with my diabetes.

Dear dawnj32

I am not sure where you live but there may be some assistance for you, if you live near a dental school. Frequently you may receive free dental care if you allow a student under supervision to provide your care. You also may want to contact your local health department to determine if there are any free dental clinics in your area.
