Hello xenonin
With the limited information given, it is difficult to say if your sight could improve. I would say that visual acuity does change over time whether you are diabetic or not. People who are 40 years old who have never needed assistance now many times need correction to read. I do not know your age. You are doing a good job self-managing your diabetes indicated by your HgA1c of 7%. Good job!! Do you see your ophthalmologist every year? The doctor will test your visual acuity and adjust your prescription if needed. Also, the doctor will examine yor retina and test your eye pressure. Let's hope your vision has improved, but let's be proactive to be sure it does not decrease in the future!
