"I have been advised to take "Procrit" shots for anemia, I;m concerned about it's affect on my heart, etc. I am 73 and have diabetes for 30+ years. "

I have chronic Kidney disease, I am concerned about the side effects of Procrit, any suggestions?

Dear iris lonker, Procrit is commonly used for anemia. ask your physician if you have any health factors that you make you a poor candidate to use this medication. If you are working with a renal doctor, they are very knowledgable regarding the use of this medication. Trust them and ask questions to reassure your mind.
