"I have T2 (male) and diagnosed with a yeast infection around genitals. Dr. gave me Nizoral but itching still present. What else can I use with this?"

Symptoms go away for a few days, then return. Itching is still present even when using Nizoral. Is there anything I can use along with this to relieve the itching? My last A1C was 5.2, no dmedication, have high cholesterol (presently on Crestor) have lost over 60 lbs. in the last 2 years,

Dear jjedju- By now I would think your rash has gone. Nizoral is the treatment of choice for a yeast infection. If it has not completely gone away and/or keeps recurring I would suggest you go to a dermatologist and have a slide specimen done to make sure it is indeed yeast.

Make sure you are always wearing cotton boxers. Keep the skin area dry. If you work out shower and avoid sitting around in moist workout clothes.

Fantastic job in loosing the weight and keeping your A1c at such a great level, strong work.
