Research shows that it often takes more than an hour a day along with careful monitoring your total food intake for weight loss. It's tough to lose weight quickly when you're gaining muscle. Muscle mass is more dense than fat (meaning that it weighs more). Gaining muscle benefits your overall metabolism, improves blood glucose and lipid levels and increases your daily caloric needs.
Rather than watching the scale, focus on how well your clothes fit. It would better reflect your body fat levels than your body weight.
