"Can a type I go into DKA if they have not received any insulin via pump for more than 4-5 hrs even though their BS remains low to normal?"

Is the pump malfunctioning, or is any insulin by injection being given. A lot more information is needed to evaluate this, but if blood sugars are stable there may be no danger at the moment. However, while stopping insulin from a pump it can progress to danger very quickly. You need to be closely monitored by your physician and check for ketones!

If your BS remains low to normal I can't imagine that you would go into diabetic ketosis.
