Diabetes complications such as neuropathy and poor circulation can affect the nerve fibers and blood vessels that feed the female genitals. If you have nerve damage you may lose some sensation around the genital area. Medications can also affect the circulation of blood, or affect the function of muscles and nerves involved in the sexual response. Using lubricants may be helpful - depending on what is causing the condition. I suggest you talk to your health care provider who can determine the cause and best treatment for your condition.
