stressed over that, in addition to it keeping me from sleeping well. I take 2 Janumet daily and up until now have been able to keep things under control. I have lost 10 lbs, but due to the surgery have not been able to do my walking every day. Should I contact my diabetes dr?

Any type of surgery or stress can cause blood sugars to rise. Give your body time to heal and your blood sugars should taper down. This is a fairly common scenario; of course share this information with your health care team. They may choose to alter your meds or just watch and wait.

Hello Sterling: The difference you decribe is not that signifigant. Don't work yourself up about it. If your numbers stay there, or it just makes you feel better contact your MD. If stress were the cause I'd suspect much, much higher numbers than these. Don't sweat em...
