Although you did not pose a question, I assume that you are wondering about the experiences of people with diabetes as they relate to laser eye surgery.

Regardless of the particular technique (or laser) used, people with diabetes have increased risk of complication if their blood glucose (sugar) is in poor control. Other complications of diabetes would influence the outcome of the surgery.

I recommend that you talk with your eye doctor about your concerns. He or she can provide detail information as it relates to your personal health situation.

I once considered Lasik, but delayed. About 6-8 weeks ago, I saw a short news article (& no, I don't remember the publication) that essentially said the inventor or Lasik had said he was sorry & would never undergo the procedure himself.....
