i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes=i also had 3 blood clots in my left leg that had to be thinned by using cumidin/oral=ive since passed the clots and my left ankle has a skin rosae=or mottling=i cant use regular socks as the band at the top constricts blood flow n i end up with a band around my ankle=i also have numbness n tingling in the left foot occassionally=i usually take a 200mg tylonel when this becomes uncomfortable=id like better info than im getting from my doctor on these concerns=id also like to be allowed aqua-therapy for my legs n feet=

Dear whooppie, Thanks for your question. I would suggest contacting a foot specialist (podiatrist) to examine your feet and tell you what therapies would help you. You could also ask an endocrinologist. If your doctor is a general practitioner, you may feel that they are lacking in some information that you want to know. Ask for a referral to a specialist, as I suggested. It is a good place to start. Self diagnosis from reading on-line information is not always the way to go when you are dealing with vascular issues. It is important to prevent foot problems before they become serious and hard to treat.
