"My husband has felt like he was drunk a few times but he doesn't drink alcohol. Does he have low blood sugar? Please help."

Dear wilber, Unless your husband measures his blood sugar during one of these attacks, no one can say that low blood sugar is causing his symptoms. Usually people who have not been diagnosed with diabetes do not have low blood sugars related to pre-diabetes. I suggest you and your husband document the incidents if they occur again. What time of day, what had been eaten that day, exercise/activity, etc. The facts might help the doctor in making a diagnosis of what is causing the symptoms you described.
