Hi plantbabe, welcome to dLife!
There could be any number of reasons for being tired. If you give us a little more information someone here may be able to help you.
When were you diagnosed (and what type)? How well controlled is your BG?
I find that I'm tired if my BG is running too high. Depression can be another cause. Incidents of depression are high in diabetics.
When I can't seem to get my engine revved I make myself get dressed and go for a walk. It doesn't have to be a long one, just getting moving can get you jump started. Besides, 30 minutes a day will really help your BG levels :)

Hi:

Tiredness goes along with diabetes. It is one of the symptoms and side effects. The more you control it the better your energy level will get. I agree with the previous post as well.

yours,
Craig

I would also suggest you have your thyroid levels checked. This "tiredness" could very well NOT be related directly to your diabetes, such was my case.

I use to always fell like that. What I did was start a game called Dance Dance Revolution. Its for playstation/xbox. This game really gets your energy going. I have more energy now than I did before. Also, I sleep through the night which I previously have not before.

Hope this helps,

Yuni
