If you're following a controlled-carb meal plan and have cut back on fortified breads and grains, you may need a daily B-complex supplement. You can also increase your vitamin B intake without boosting your carbs by adding more spinach, bean sprouts, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts to your meal plan.
