Wow, what a storm that was started recently on my co-bloggers page. I have the utmost respect for you Michelle and your passion, writing ability, your life and even your disgust with diabetes when you wrote that blog. Please know this. I HAVE WRITTEN these types in the past too (when I was off). But you, and all the people that commented on your blog who, too, agree’d with your sentiment of “hating diabetes”, could not have proved a point with any clearer of an example of how out of touch we get with ourselves and life from time to time. This is ok, this is normal. It happens. But what you do with it when your faced with it, is what makes the difference and what can take you from a life of peace, or heaven, and true existence - to a place of hell, or unbalance, or non-peace.

This talk and discussion that you have started, and that has taken off, has all the potentiality in the world to help us all and to be one of the most important conversations that we will have with ourselves and others since the start of each of our individual journeys.

This is life. This is the card we were dealt, or that we have in our deck. Be at peace with it. All the time. Accept it. That doesn’t mean you can’t try to change it. And when you find yourself out of alignment with your peace, then go back inside. Take some deep breaths and slow down. Allow yourself to slow your thoughts. Your mind has taken the ball, so to speak, and dribbled it off the court. Regain control of your beauty. Regain control of the ball. YOU have the ability to see your own thoughts for what they are at any given time.

This happens all the time. To me, and to everyone in the world. Even to the most enlightened. From time to time we get out of balance. I think even the masters get out of balance here and their – their just better and more quick to remember how to get back to their center and to peace.

A thought enters your mind. See it. What is it? Where is it truly coming from? Most likely, you will see - if your really looking. Slow down. Has this thought that you’re thinking about come from a place of ego? Look at it. Most likely, in today’s world, it has. Are you judging, is this thought in your mind “unhappy”, are you “worried”…these are all thoughts that are egoic in nature and that can take you from you center very quickly and mysteriously and without you even knowing it. Before it’s too late, you are wallowing around in your own self mind-made pity. Before you know it, your coming from a place of hate. True hate. And THAT is not healthy. That is not heavenly. That will do you, and all others, no good.

This is heaven. This is life. You have the choice to be at peace all the time. The ego never goes away, it’s always there. But, if you can (as Tolle says) be the “watcher of your thoughts” – then you can free your mind from the battle and begin to truly enjoy life and see just how beautiful it truly is. This is peace. This is now. Diabetes is not a bad thing. It’s just what you do to survive. Be thankful for the medicine you have. Be thankful for the friends and family that you know, that can be here in heaven with you, sharing this experience together. Love. Have Compassion. Come back to your center when your thoughts try to slip it away from you. Be at peace with your mind. Don’t let your thoughts and worries take you away. Take time in each day to slow down, and to listen to your breathing. Just the basic sound of paying attention to the inhalation and exhalation of your lungs and breath is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect. You are perfect, don’t forget that. We all are.

Thank you Michelle, and everyone. With love.
