Brynn and I had a great laugh, or at least she did, this afternoon. Maybe you or your significant other can relate to this, but sometimes, when the blood sugar is low, MANNERS GO OUT THE WINDOW!
She and I had just returned from running a few errands around town and I felt the undeniable effects of hypoglycemia coming on. I was sitting on the couch watching TV when I heard a knock at the door. Brynn was in the back room and unable to come to the door, so I got up and answered it. "Hello", said the nice man, "I have a package for Brian", (He meant Brynn. For some reason, people have a very difficult time pronouncing it right). Upon examining the package, I realized that it was from a candy store of some sorts. The first thing that came to my mind, in a low sugar state, was "Christmas came early!!"
Without so much as a wink, I ripped open the bag and dug into the delicate, delectable chocolate covered strawberries like a crack fiend hitting a pipe. Those strawberries never saw it coming. I ran to hide in the bathroom and shoved two strawberries in my mouth before Brian, (Brynn) could say, "What are you eating?" I shot her the same look as a puppy just caught chewing on a pricey pair of shoes. "Babe! Who are those from?" I remembered I didn't even bother to look. "Ohh!, those must be from my sister," she said. I felt horrible. Actually, no I didn't because I needed sugar, AND QUICK!
It was hilarious and Brynn told me to write a blog about it after I got my glucose back up! We had a good laugh. I am sure you have a funny story like that too. Your sugar is down and you grab the first thing you see out of desperation and cram it down your throat!

haha, you just do what you gotta do!
