I have been on this Weight Watchers program for a few months now. The weight has been lost and found over those months. Luckily more has been lost then found but it is definitely an up and down ordeal.


This Saturday's weigh in proved to be a very minor loss. It was only .4 lbs. Not even a whole pound! I was not happy but any loss is better then a gain. All day long I noticed that my shorts felt like they were going to fall off of me. For fear of looking like a dad trying to look cool with sagging pants, I continued to hike up my shorts all day long.


Well Sunday morning as I was getting ready for church I figured I should try using the next notch in my belt. When I pulled on my belt to put it on it easily pulled right to the next notch. The last notch. (READ MORE)

The last three weeks at Weight Watchers has opened my eyes up to an important fact.


The program works.


I know that sounds silly but hear me out. 4 weeks ago when I weighed in I was at 38 pounds lost. I was pretty excited about that and was looking forward to being past 40 pounds. Well, the two weeks following that weigh in were not good for me. In fact, I gained exactly .6 pounds each week. Since it was less then a pound I was not entirely upset but I was really hoping to get past that 40 pound mark. (READ MORE)

The Mr. took No. 1 to his last well-child doctor's visit. I should have gone. I'm such an information junkie that I ask so many questions of The Mr. after things like this that it would have just made more sense for me to have gone.

 

I was shocked to learn that No. 1 is in the 91st percentile for weight. Dr. N, who I absolutely love, sent a note home about increasing the amount of fruits and veggies No. 1 eats and decreasing the amount of fats and sugars he eats.
