Has diabetes made it difficult to get/renew a driver's license?

For years I was a smoker. I smoked a pack a day at the very least for 15 years. Addiction is powerful.
I finally kicked that habit but realized that nicotine is not the only drug I am addicted to. The other is much easier to get and I am not sure I want to quit it yet.

Carey is a full-time hater of diabetes. The benefits stink. His 7-year-old son, Charlie, has been giving he and his wife the finger since November of 2003. Mike was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes on December 29, 2008, and congestive heart failure the very next day. Talk about a double whammy for anyone, let alone a 24 year old. He didn’t have to come up with New Year’s resolutions that year; his doctors did that for him. That kind of humor has been instrumental in keeping him, and those around him, going over the last year and a half.
