"What's the matter?" The Mr. wanted to know when I called him at work today just before lunch. "You sound like someone just kicked your puppy."
I chuckled. I was trying to hide it, but I guess not successfully.

Truth is, I'm not really sure what's wrong with me. I've been so psyched about going on the pump since the process really got under way last week. I keep saying that my new diagnosis doesn't change anything, but it does. It just does. I can't put my finger on it, and many of the things that are going through my mind as being "worse" than having type 2 are likely just unfounded fears. (READ MORE)

I got a link to an article from ABC News today about Halle Berry. I was encouraged to see that doctors are equally concerned with her claims that she's cured herself of type 1 diabetes.

"Diabetics quickly took to the blogosphere to condemn Berry for claiming that a change in diet could cure Type 1 diabetes, an autoimmune disease in which the pancreas permanently fails to produce insulin, the vital hormone that regulates sugar levels in the blood."
