Last week I set the bar high for myself. Too high. Out of a possible 25 points, I earned a total of 16. I can make all the excuses in the world for why I was not successful, but the truth of the matter is, I just wasn't as focused as I was the previous week.

But it's a new day, a new week and so far, I'm doing OK. I revamped my goals for the week, backtracking a bit closer to my original plan. This week, I'm focusing on:

1. Testing my blood sugar four times a day. Last week, I knocked this off the list entirely thinking I had it under control again, but then I slacked, so its back at the top of the list.

2. Exercising for at least 30 minutes a day. I had a busy week last week and was not able to find time for this every day. This week, I'm working on making it a top priority, starting my day thinking, when will I exercise? What's the weather report? Do I need to take baby to the mall to walk today? While I didn't earn all my points for this last week, on the days I did exercise, I managed to get a full hour in and even tackled the big hill in town on my "day off". I haven't done the hill since mid-pregnancy and while it was a tough climb, it felt good to look back down from the top.

3. Doing at least 30 sit ups a day. I did good with 25 sit-ups a day last week, so I thought it was a good time to raise the bar on this.

4. Drinking 3 liters of water a day. Four out of five days I did good with this, I even managed to keep it up over the weekend too. I definitely feel better when I drink all that water.

5. Taking a multi-vitamin and calcium supplement. This one was hard for me to remember last week, so I'm keeping with it this week and hopefully it will be come second nature soon.

I'm also happy to report that I successfully lost another pound last week, making my grand total 41.6 pounds since the peak of my pregnancy. Just another 26.4 to go until I reach my "happy weight," which for me is the same as my wedding weight. And boy was I happy that day.

This week, my reward will be a new Easter outfit, so I am more than motivated to achieve it! And I currently have 39 points toward my 100 point reward of a facial.

If you're playing along with me, please let me know what your goals are this week, what rewards you're working for and how you're doing with the game. I hope it's helping and fun at the same time.
